The Santa Rosa Junior College Beach Volleyball program continued its preseason preparation with a strong scrimmage against the College of Marin on Friday, January 23rd. The matchup provided an exciting opportunity for the Bear Cubs to test their growing chemistry, compete against another regional program, and gain valuable experience as they build toward the upcoming season.
SRJC showcased depth across the lineup, with athletes competing against a variety of pair combinations throughout the day. The scrimmage highlighted the team's energy, communication, and continued development in the sand.
"This was an important early step for our team," said Head Coach Ally Sather. "College of Marin is a great local competitor, and scrimmages like this allow our athletes to build confidence, sharpen strategy, and continue developing as pairs."
SRJC Beach Volleyball will continue training and preparing for its inaugural season, opening its season at Livermore Park in Folsom on Thursday, January 29th against Butte College and Shasta College.
