Youth Camp

Step up to the plate and sharpen your softball skills this summer! Our Youth Softball Skills Camp is designed specifically for girls aged 8–13 who want to build strong fundamentals, improve their game IQ, and have fun playing the sport they love. This camp offers expert instruction in a fun and supportive environment.
Who: 8 years old - 8th grade
When: June 9th & 10th (Monday & Tuesday)
Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Where: SRJC Marv Mays Field
Led by SRJC Head Coach Madison Green and assistant coaches, Doug Buescher and Anna Zoia-Buescher, along with the Bear Cub student-athletes.
This camp will focus on:
Hitting: Mechanics, timing, power, and bat control
Fielding: Footwork, glove work, throwing accuracy, and decision-making
- Including pitching and catching sessions
Game Play: Base running, in-game strategy, and team communication
This high-energy camp is perfect for young athletes who are new to softball or looking to take their skills to the next level. Come ready to learn, compete, and have a blast!
Please note: Lunch will not be provided. Water bottle refill station will be provided.

College Prep Camp
Get game-ready and take your softball skills to the next level! This two-day College Prep Softball Camp is designed specifically for high school athletes (grades 9–12) who are serious about competing at the collegiate level. Train like a Bear Cub with focused instruction from experienced coaches and college athletes.
Who: Girls entering grades 9–12
When: June 11 & 12 (Wednesday & Thursday)
Time: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Where: SRJC Marv Mays Field
Led by SRJC Head Coach Madison Green and assistant coaches Doug Buescher and Anna Zoia-Buescher, along with Bear Cub student-athletes.
This advanced-level camp will focus on:
Hitting: Mechanics, timing, power, and approach at the plate
Defense: Infield and outfield technique, throwing progression, and decision-making
- Including pitching and catching sessions
Game Strategy: Base running, team communication, and competitive situational play
This high-intensity camp is ideal for athletes looking to refine their skills, boost their softball IQ, and gain exposure to the collegiate training environment. Come ready to learn, compete, and level up!
