Bear Cubs opened up scoring in the first inning, when Carmen Haugen was struck by a pitch, driving in a run. SRJC put up five runs in the second inning. The offensive onslaught came from doubles by Mandy O'Keefe and Haugen and a single by Sullivan Henry. Lily Castro was the winning pitcher for the Bear Cubs .
