Bear Cub alum, Garrett Hill gets the win in his Major League debut on the 4th of July for the Detroit Tigers.

Hill tossed 6 innings giving up 2 hits and 1 run while striking out 3. Hill was a member of the 2017 SRJC team that finished 2nd in the State. He joins former Bear Cubs Jason Alexander (Brewers), Justin Bruihl (Dodgers), and Anthony Bender (Marlins) in the Major Leagues in 2022.
