Putting together a solid performance, the Bear Cubs were able to do enough to secure the 3rd place trophy, a feat that has not happened at SRJC in at least 20 years. Emily Johnson came away with three gold medals and a total of 48 points. Johnson would break the school record in the Triple Jump for a second time this year on her way to the title. Tianna Jardstrom anchored the 4x100 team, finished 4th in both the 400 and 400 hurdles. Lianah Ouye finished second in the Pole Vault with a jump of 3.30m.
