Putting together a solid performance, the Bear Cubs were able to do enough to secure the 3^rd place trophy, a feat that has not happened at SRJC in at least 20 years.   Emily Johnson came away with three gold medals and a total of 48 points.  Johnson would break the school record in the Triple Jump for a second time this year on her way to the title.  Tianna Jardstrom anchored the 4x100 team, finished 4^th in both the 400 and 400 hurdles. Lianah Ouye finished second in the Pole Vault with a jump of 3.30m. This was a State Qualifying meet, and the following people will be heading down to Mt. SAC next weekend for the CCCAA State Championships:
