SRJC traveled to Sierra College 10/18 to compete at the 3C2A Norcal Team Dual Championship. For the second year in a row, the team came away with the 3rd place trophy. After defeating Lassen College 41-11 in the quarterfinals, the team's only loss on the day was to #1 state ranked Fresno City College. Next, SRJC battled back, defeating Chabot College 36-14. SRJC came out on top for the 3rd place trophy 34-17 against Sierra College. The Bear Cubs improved their record to 7-2 on the season.  Notable performances on the day included: Connor Jeong (125) 3-0, Chase Claassen (141) 4-0, Ryan George (197) 3-0, & Asher Nischke (285) 3-0. Next up for the Bear Cubs is a conference dual at home, in Haehl Pavilion, on 10/22 against Shasta College at 5pm.
