Women's Water Polo: Bear Cubs Breaks Losing Streak With Conference Win

Santa Rosa Women's Water Polo gained a conference win, their second of the 2014 season, breaking a 12 game losing streak at Modesto Jr College on Wednesday Oct 15th. The Bear Cubs gained an early lead of 4-1 in the first quarter, were held scoreless in a dramatic second quarter, and then added 8 more goals in the second half for the 12 to 4 victory over the Pirates.

Six Santa Rosa players contributed to the score tally: Nicole Groat 4, Dulcie Manchenton 3, Lexi Baldwin 2, Maddie Scott 1, Madison Richwine 1, and Amy Rider 1.

The Cubs next game will be at home against conference opponent Sac City, Wednesday, 10/29, at 3:30pm.
