SRJC Volleyball is off to a great start this season with a 4-0 record after their first week of play. On Saturday, the 5th of September, the Bear Cubs traveled to Reedley College for a four team tournament including De Anza and Alameda colleges. SRJC quickly defeated Alameda College, and went on to play Reedley College, who beat De Anza earlier in the day. This afternoon match was a battle for a first place finish in the tournament. SRJC accomplished the victory in four sets, dropping the first one 19-25 but taking the next three 25-9, 25-16 and 25-22. Bonfigli had a total of 68 assists for the day, and Garzoli added 22 kills and 4 aces.
