SRJC Women's Volleyball is excited to announce the dates of their 2015 camps/clinics and tournaments! There are three outdoor volleyball tournaments available for all ages beginning April 26th and then in July and August. Be sure to check out the flyer for times and locations of each event. These tournaments are all day events that can range from 9am -7pm. Be sure to bring a partner, but if you cannot find one there are often people who need one.
Then, starting in mid-June, there will be an outdoor volleyball clinic every Tuesday and Thursday at the Community Park in Rincon Valley. Participants should utilize Rick Drive for the easiest access point to the clinic. All ages are welcome for this, and everyone will learn the rules and techniques necessary for playing outdoors. This is a great way to develop all the skills required for volleyball, and participants generally see a higher improvement in their overall game after participation.
Finally, the volleyball team will be hosting a camp in July for all ages up to seniors in high school. This is a great way to keep up skills over summer, and prepare players for their upcoming tryouts. Younger age groups will participate in the morning, and the older group will play in the afternoon. There is an option to stay for both sessions for $175, or be moved up if the skill set is deemed appropriate for doing so.
