The Lady Bear Cubs finished 7th overall at the CCCAA Track & Field State Championship Meet in Fresno last weekend.
Highlights included:
- Mickie Seuga - 7th in the Discus - 40.38m
- Julia Grimm - 2nd in the Heptathlon - 4683, 2nd in High Jump - 1.64m, 4th in Javelin - 41.10m
- Stephanie Fernandez - 2nd in 400 Hurdles - 63.12
- Erica Ruiz - 2nd in 1500m - 4:41.58, 5th in the 5000m - 18:18.79
Also both Grimm and Fernandez set new SRJC school records in the Heptathlon and the 400 Hurdles respectively.
