            In the earlier game of the SRJC/Golden Valley Crossover Tournament, the Bulldogs (7-0) of City College of San Mateo defeated the Corsairs (7-4) of College of the Redwoods in a closely contested game. Ashley Quigley made five 3-pointers on her way to totaling 30 points for the Corsairs. Chiara Brown led the Bulldogs with 27 points.

            For their second game of the crossover, the Bear Cubs (5-3) took on the Feather River College Golden Eagles (6-5). Lizeth Zavala attempted the first shot of the contest and sank the 10-foot runner. On their first possession, Serena Sanchez-Gardipe drew a shooting foul and sank both free throws. Nearly a minute later Kobree Penney made one of two free throws. Back-to-back field goals by Kierra Johnson and Trinity Hawkins put the Bear Cubs ahead 6-3. After a basket by Penney, Ashleigh Barr recorded a 3-point play as she cut across the key and caught the pass from Johnson, who was at the high post. Lizeth Zavala's turnaround shot from eight feet out with 5:22 on the clock put the Bear Cubs on top 11-6. Hawkins's two free throws, Hanna Morris' one-footer on a pass from Hawkins, and consecutive scoring drives by Hawkins and Tal Webb pushed the score to 19-8 at the 3:27 mark. The Golden Eagles scored the next four points on a field goal and two free throws by Sanchez-Gardipe. Ashleigh Barr then scored four unanswered points on a pair of free throws and a putback of her own miss with 17 seconds left. Sanchez-Gardipe sank two more free throws, and Trinity Hawkins banked in a putback just before the buzzer sounded, giving the Bear Cubs a 25-14 lead by the end of the quarter.

            The Golden Eagles scored the first field goal of the second quarter after 66 seconds of play. The Bear Cubs' made three field goals in a row—Trinity Hawkins' drive, Alex Ditizio's floater, and Hawkins' spin shot—while the Golden Eagles added a 3-pointer, to increase their lead to 31-19 with 7:21 on the clock. After a Golden Eagles' field goal, Kierra Johnson scored on a putback. Kobree Penney swished a 3-pointer, and then the Bear Cubs were successful on four out of their next five shots—Tal Webb's 12-footer, Alex Ditizio's 3-pointer, Tal Webb's 13-footer, and Ditizio's second 3-pointer—for a 43-24 advantage with 2:07 left. The Golden Eagles scored four more points in the quarter to go into halftime behind 28-43.

            During the first six minutes of the third quarter, the Golden Eagles made one field goal and five free throws. Meanwhile Ashleigh Barr sank three shots, all from within six feet, and Trinity Hawkins made one free throw, to retain their 15-point lead, 50-35. The Bear Cubs outscored the Golden Eagles 18-10 the remainder of the period, including one putback each by Trinity Hawkins, Ashleigh Barr, Kierra Johnson, and Tal Webb, Hawkins' scoring drive from the wing, and consecutive 3-pointers by Alex Ditizio and Tal Webb, for a 68-45 advantage by the end of the period.

            Kobree Penney's 3-pointer with 7:39 on the clock started the scoring in the fourth quarter. Sixteen seconds later Alex Ditizio drained her fourth 3-pointer. Ditizio put in a short shot over a minute after that. With 5:54 left, Trinity Hawkins banked in a layup after pulling down the defensive rebound and dribbling the length of the court. Penney put in a 2-pointer 78 seconds afterward. Ashleigh Barr put back her own miss, Lizeth Zavala hit an off-balance 10-footer, and then Ashleigh Barr intercepted a pass near the Golden Eagles' free throw line and dribbled all the way down to sink the layup with 2:07 remaining. The Golden Eagles tallied the next five points. Rose Nevin's 3-footer was the final basket of the game, as the Bear Cubs posted the 83-55 victory.

            The Golden Eagles made 16 baskets to the 35 by the Bear Cubs. The Golden Eagles were 18 for 24 from the free throw line, while the Bear Cubs only shot 10, making 8 of them. Both teams sank 5 3-pointers. The Bear Cubs had their most effective game on the offensive boards, as they pulled down 19 of their missed shots and scored on 10 of these second chances. The Golden Eagles grabbed 12 offensive rebounds, put back one and drew shooting fouls on three others. Kobree Penney made two 3-pointers and totaled 17 points. Emily Sheridan also sank two 3-pointers and finished with 10 points.

            Ashleigh Barr and Trinity Hawkins led the Bear Cubs with 19 points each. Alex Ditizio set a new career high of 18 points, including four 3-pointers. Tal Webb added 11 points, Lizeth Zavala and Kierra Johnson 6 each, and Hanna Morris and Rose Nevin 2 each. Trinity Hawkins and Tal Webb each grabbed 9 rebounds and Ashleigh Barr 8. Tal Webb and Kierra Johnson passed for 4 assists each. Tal Webb also blocked 3 shots.
