Sophomore team captain, John Madden, looks to lead a large group of talented freshmen into the 2020 season.

Madden was an All American and All Conference athlete and a state finalist in the fly and IM events for the Cubs in 2019, and has already posted some top ranking times early this season after some rigorous off-season training.  He has embraced his new role as leader as the only sophomore on the squad in 2020.

The Cubs welcome a strong freshmen class this season including: Nick Dobusch (Kelseyville HS) who leads the team already in the sprint events and the 200 fly; team co-captain, Dante Martinez (Santa Rosa HS) a specialist in the fly and free events; Andrew Liput (El Molino HS) another freestyle sprinter; Morgan Desalvo (Maria Carrillo HS), a natural breaststroker; Max Owens (Santa Rosa HS) a distance freestyler; and Juan Madrigal (American Canyon HS) a flyer and mid-distance freestyler.  SRJC also have Harlan Bryant representing them on the diving boards.

SRJC started off the season with a couple of busy weekends hosting the NorCal Relays Meet (2nd Place finish) and their annual Alumni Meet at the beginning of the month. And they competed in the two day, City College of San Francisco Invitational meet (2nd place finish) last weekend. Highlights included top 3 finishes by:
