The SRJC men won nearly half of the events offered and finished a close second to Riverside at the RCC Invite last weekend. This was an important mid-season meet for the Cubs and both returning and freshman athletes hit many season and personal bests with a strong overall team performance.

Sophomore Mark Sidorenko led the team sweeping his individual events (50 Free, 100 Fly, and 100 Free) as well as being a member of the Cubs winning 200 Free and 200 Medley relays. Sophomore Julian Schiano Dicola also won two of his three events including the 500 Free and the 400 IM.  Freshman Cameron Flood had a break out swim with his winning time of 17:12.15 in the mile as well.

SRJC demonstrated some overall roster depth with one-two finishes in the 500 Free (Schiano Dicola and Cameron Flood), 50 Free (Sidorenko and Jack McCormick), and 100 Fly (Sidorenko and McCormick).
