The Cubs were led by sophomore sprinter Mark Sidorenko, freshman distance freestyler Cameron Flood, and strong relay performances at the CCCAA State Swimming Championships last weekend at De Anza College.
With strong performances from returning sophomores and freshmen standouts, the Bear Cubs finish third overall in the most competitive conference in the state and qualify 8 athletes to the State Finals May 2-4pm.
Men's Swimming: Eric Gromala swam into the trailer and found an elderly woman holding her head above rising water with about a foot of breathing space left.
Finishing just one spot out of the top 10 last season, the Bear Cubs hope to challenge for a top 8 spot in the CCCAA in 2019, with a roster full of experienced returners and strong freshmen talent.
