Men's Swimming: Bear Cubs Honored with Six Individual All Americans

The SRJC men had six individuals and five relays receive All American rankings.  In order to be named an CCCAA All American, an individual or relay must rank in the top 16 times swam overall in the 2014-2015 season. Sophomore Ben Crabb ranked the highest receiving honors in four individual events and was a member on 4/5 of SRJC's All American relays as well.  The Bear Cubs had three freshmen and three sophomores named to the 2015 CCCAA All American list including:

Ben Crabb, SO

  • 100 Back (8th)
  • 200 Back (4th)
  • 200 IM (9th)
  • 400 IM (6th)

Bowen Brooks, SO

  • 100 Breast (7th)
  • 200 Breast (9th)

Omar Saldivar, SO

  • 200 Fly (15th) 

Jesse Schmidt, FR

  • 200 Breast (8th)
  • 200 IM (12th)
  • 400 IM (8th)

Brandon Miguel, FR

  • 500 Free (15th)
  • 1650 Free (15th)
  • 200 Fly (16th)

Nathan Boas, FR

  • 400 IM (16th)

All five of SRJC's relays were also named on the All American List including:

  • 200 Medley Relay:  Crabb, Brooks, Saldivar, Tom Franicevich (8th)
  • 400 Medley Relay:  Crabb, Brooks, Saldivar, Franicevich (10th)
  • 200 Free Relay:  Schmidt, Will Hardman, Saldivar, Miguel (12th)
  • 400 Free Relay:  Franicevich, Hardman, Schmidt, Crabb (8th)
  • 800 Free Relay:  Franicevich, Crabb, Miguel, Schmidt (7th)
