Title: Associate Head Coach

Dave Latourette enters his sixth season as the Associate Head Coach and Director of Performance with the Bear Cub soccer program. Latourette is an instructor in the Kinesiology, Athletics & Dance Department and is also respected nationally as goalkeeping clinician and speaker.

He began his coaching career at Eastern Connecticut State University in 1989 and followed with coaching stints at: The University of Hartford, Dartmouth, and the University of Arkansas.  At Hartford he coached in three NCAA Div I Tournaments including one Final Four appearance. From there he coached at NCAA Division I programs Dartmouth College and the University of Arkansas. Latourette also served as Director of Coaching for the Upper Valley Lightning Soccer Club in Hanover NH, and was the National Director for Toni DiCiccos SoccerPlus Goalkeeper School.  

Latourette attended Lyme-Old Lyme High School where he participated in four sports. After graduating he attended Springfield College and Eastern Connecticut State University where he played soccer, and in his senior year was team captain, team MVP, and nominated as an NCAA Division III All American. 

Coach Latourette graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Physical Education / Exercise Science with a minor in Sport Coaching from Eastern Connecticut State University. He also has a National Diploma from the NSCAA. 

Latourette resides in Santa Rosa, CA with his wife Jen and their black labrador retriever Luca. Latourette owns his own successful coaching business focusing on endurance sports and more specifically on triathlons. He moved to Santa Rosa in March of 2003.
