The Bear Cubs took on the State's number 1 ranked SF City Rams in the second round of the SF City tournament. The Rams looked dominant in building a 40-28 halftime lead, but Santa rallied to trim the lead to just 3 points with 6 minutes remaining. The game would get no closer and Santa Rosa was forced to press and foul down the stretch getting beat 73-61.
6-11 Center, Erik Poulsen came up big with 22 points and 16 rebounds. Three other Bear Cubs scored in double figures led by Kiel Long with 12, Cetrick Yeanay 11, and Justin Frazier with 10.
