The SRJC Football Team traveled to Rocklin on Saturday to play the Sierra College Wolverines. This was the final pre-season game for the Bear Cubs, who are currently ranked #1 in Northern California, and #3 in the State. A balanced attack on offense led by QB Mitch Hood accounted for 260 passing yards and 225 rushing yards with zero turnovers. The Defense got back in the end zone this week when Keith Benjamin intercepted a Sierra pass and ran it in for a 47 yard score, and the special teams played well all day. The Bear Cubs head into bye week and return to play Contra Costa in the Bay 6 Conference opener at Bailey Field on October 15th.
