This will complete the pre-season for the Bear Cubs who are currently ranked #1 in Norcal and #3 in California. Last week against Sacramento City College, school record holder Andors Pedroza traveled for 5 hours from a wedding to make it to the game in the 4th quarter, and just in time to kick a game winner as the Bear Cubs improved to 4 & 0 on the season. This week the Bear Cubs will be facing an ex-Bear Cub, Sierra Head Coach Ben Noonan. Coach Noonan played at Cardinal Newman High school and at Santa Rosa Junior College back in the 90's, and At that same time SRJC Head Coach Lenny Wagner was the DB's Coach at SRJC. The player and coach match-up will be the first for the two, and will be the first time SRJC has played Sierra College since the 2008 Premier Bank Bowl (SRJC 28-Sierra 20).
