2013 – Season Highlights

2013 was another successful season for Santa Rosa Junior College. The Bear Cubs continued their legacy of bowl appearances in 2013 and finished the season ranked no. 7 in northern California and no. 13 in the State. Now that the season is over, the SRJC sophomores have begun signing scholarships and the coaches are out working hard to replace them. This year the Bear Cubs plan on 100% placement of their players at universities across the nation. There are 25 players graduating this year and all 25 will be signing scholarships by the end of the summer.
2013 – Season Preview
2014 has already been a year to remember. Since January, the Bear Cubs have seen their first Super Bowl Champion (TE Cooper Helfet – SRJC, Duke, Seahawks); they had their first ever, first round draft pick in the NFL (CB Jason Verrett – SRJC, TCU, Chargers); and San Francisco 49er's head coach Jim Harbaugh came up to Santa Rosa to help the Bear Cubs with a fundraiser.
As the season draws near, the Bear Cub coaches and players are very optimistic and working hard to continue the success of SRJC Football. "We Are Now!"
