Santa Rosa, Calif. - The No. 13 Butte softball team wrapped its weekend road trip with a pair of wins over Santa Rosa, 13-6 and 8-3 (8), on Saturday afternoon.
Freshman Avery Jolley (2-3) picked up her second win of the weekend in the circle, throwing six complete with five strikeouts in game one.
Freshman Kylee Richhart homered in both games, counting five RBI.
In game one, the Roadrunners scored 13 runs on nine hits, led by Richhart, freshman Diana Hull, and sophomore Maggie Smith's multi-hit efforts. In game two, five Roadrunners tallied multi-hit games with Smith counting a double and freshman Faith Epperson earning a triple.
Sophomore Kiya Hamar (1-0) earned the win in relief in the circle with a 3.1 inning appearance, scattering three hits and fanning three.
Butte (6-5) remains on the road, heading to No. 17 Folsom Lake on Friday, Feb. 17 for a doubleheader beginning at 1 p.m.
