Falcons Come Up Short in Doubleheader against Santa Rosa

Fairfield, Calif. - The Solano softball team came up short in a doubleheader against Santa Rosa, 3-1 and 12-2, on Tuesday afternoon.

Freshman Annabelle Lomeli led the Falcon offense with a 3-for-5 outing, earning a RBI and run in the second contest. 

In the circle, freshman Maleah Martinez (0-3) was charged with the complete-game loss in the first game, despite scattering six hits, allowing only allowing two earned runs, and fanning 12. Freshman Kaila Dondoy (0-1) was charged the loss in the second game on four innings pitched, allowing nine earned runs.

Solano (0-7) heads back on the road to face Sierra next on Thursday, Feb. 17 at 12 p.m.
