Freshman Leslie Murillo scored three goals on Saturday to help lead No. 7-seed City College of San Francisco to a 6-1 victory over No. 10 Santa Rosa Junior College in Round 1 of the Northern California Regional Playoffs.

The Rams, now 16-3 overall, advance to a second-round game on Tuesday (Nov. 23) at No. 2 Hartnell College. Hartnell (18-7-2) was a 2-0 winner over No. 16 Cañada College on Saturday.

CCSF held a narrow 2-1 lead at halftime after single goals from Murillo and Maleah Evans. But the Rams blew the game open in the second, outscoring Santa Rosa (11-8-2 overall) 4-0 to cruise to the victory.

Evans totaled two goals and an assist and Iliana Sanchez also scored. In goal, Alexia Estrada posted six saves to contribute to the win.

CCSF and Hartnell will meet for the second time this season. On Sept. 26 in Salinas, Hartnell defeated the Rams 2-0.
