Fairfield, Calif. - The Solano women's tennis team was edged by Santa Rosa, 4-3, in the third round of the Big 8 Conference playoffs on Friday.

Sophomore Yasmeen Awad and freshmen Yanci Yanez and Anastasia Anguiano all earned singles wins in straight sets to capture match victories for the Falcons with Anguiano shutting out Joanna Devereux.

Solano (6-3, 5-3) now awaits the End of Season Conference Tournament, hosted by the Falcons on April 4-6.
