SRJC ENDOWMENT FUND FOR EXCELLENCE IN ATHLETICS
In 2006, under the leadership of the Bear Cub Athletic Trust an endowment fund was established to ensure financial support for the athletic programs in perpetuity. The BCAT initially contributed to start this fund and continues to makes yearly contributions. Interest is made available yearly to the Kinesiology, Athletics and Dance Department in support of their needs. If you are interested in making a donation which will have a lasting impact on our student athletes, you can contact Athletic Director Matt Markovich at 707/524-1849; the SRJC Foundation at 707/527-4348.

5th ANNUAL BCAT POLENTA FEED FUNDRAISER - SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 20th
Please save Saturday evening, February 20th, for a "dinner date" of hot polenta, music and fun! While you dine you will be supporting all the fine student athletes at SRJC. The Bear Cub Athletic Trust (BCAT) volunteers, coaches, and student-athletes would love to see you, and all your family and friends attend! The money raised will go directly to athletic needs like spring and fall sports banquets, team equipment, Hall of Fame recognition, and more.
The Bear Cub Athletic Trust will be hosting it's 5th annual Polenta Feed Fundraiser on Saturday, February 20th, at Becker Hall, St. Eugene's Cathedral (2323 Montgomery Drive, Santa Rosa, CA). A no host happy hour begins at 5:30pm, with dinner, dancing, and auction beginning at 6:30pm. Tickets are $25 each. The food will be catered by Randy Apel & Crew. All proceeds from the event will go to support the SRJC Athletic programs. For ticket information call co-chair Bob Lombardi at 707-541-6448.

2016 HALL OF FAME CLASS INDUCTION

PAST/ANNUAL EVENTS
21st ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT - FRIDAY, OCTOBER 9th - Windsor Golf Course
Will be held Friday, October 9, 2015 at the Windsor Golf Course. All proceeds benefit the SRJC Athletic program. Time Schedule is as follows: 8:30 a.m., registration and use of the driving range; 10:00 a.m., shot gun start; 3:00 p.m., cocktails; and, 4:00 p.m. dinner.
Cost per golfer is $200 and includes: golf, golf cart, tee prizes, raffle tickets, breakfast bar, food and beverages on the course, hosted cocktail hour, and dinner. Dinner only is available for $35.
Tee sponsorships, to any of the sport teams or the Bear Cub Athletic Trust, at a cost of $125 each.

The Bear Cub Athletic Trust and Heart and Soul Sports will be hosting it's first annual 3K fun run on Sunday, May 3rd, during SRJC's Day Under the Oaks celebration.
- Location: Bailey Field on SRJC's Santa Rosa Campus, Mendocino Drive, Santa Rosa
- Start Time: 9 a.m. Course: Around SRJC Campus with finish on the college trace at the Bailey Field Grandstand
- Register: Mail or online by April 20th, in-person by May 1st to Heart and Sole Sports, 900 Fourth Street, Santa Rosa, CA 95404
- Entry Fee: $25 Pre-registration; $30 Race day T-Shirts: Guaranteed if registered by April 20th
- Age Divisions: 13 & under, 14-19; 20-29, 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; over 70
- Awards: 1st place in each Division (Men/Women), Fastest time for SRJC student and SRJC employee
